The Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL Kit is a powerful and versatile portable studio flash set. As the successor to the successful and award-winning B1, the B1X is the perfect flash for adventurous photographers who love shooting on location. With its powerful battery, the portable B1X allows you to work independently from any power outlet. The Location Kit includes one B1X 500 AirTTL flash, one Lithium-Ion MkII battery and a 4.5A battery charger.

The B1X 500 AirTTL boasts a solid build and several handy features. Importantly, the system is quick to set up and easy to operate. It works entirely wirelessly and includes an intuitive interface with a large, easy-to-read LCD screen. Instead of struggling with cables or digging through menus, you can quickly and easily adjust all your settings.

TTL and HSS

Finding the right exposure can be challenging, especially for the first shot or when conditions change. Fortunately, the B1X 500 AirTTL automatically adjusts everything for you. With its excellent TTL metering, you can simply point and shoot. Additionally, the B1X offers High-Speed Sync (HSS), allowing you to flash with shutter speeds up to 1/8,000s. This capability means you can work even in bright conditions, effectively brightening shadows in your images.

Ten Times More Power

The B1X 500 AirTTL delivers approximately ten times more power than an average system flash. With its 500Ws output, you can adjust the power in 1/10 F-stop increments. Plus, it features a powerful LED modeling light with a comparable output of 130 Watts. You can control the B1X wirelessly using one of the optional Air Remote TTL Remotes, available for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, and other cameras. These Air Remotes have an impressive range of up to 300 meters.

Fully Equipped

Profoto designed the B1X for speed, offering a rapid firing rate of 20 flashes per second. It comes with a robust Lithium-Ion battery that provides a capacity of 325 full-power flashes and tens of thousands of flashes at lower output. You can recharge it quickly using the included 4.5A battery charger.
